Good luck to our previous minister in Surrey

The Revd Dan Balsdon started his new appointment in September 2023, with his wife and their two children. He served as minister for the community at Bognor Regis Methodist Church, and sister Methodist Churches at Felpham and Westergate.

His ministry in West Sussex began in September 2018. At the time, Dan wrote: “it’s been exciting to explore the beautiful area of Bognor Regis, and exciting to work with the people at Bognor Regis Methodist Church and the local community. I’m excited to work with some wonderful people, deeply committed to loving and serving each other and the local community.”

He added: “Bognor Regis Methodist Church has much to offer. As well as regular Sunday Worship, you might also like to test your brain cells in our monthly quiz night, come along to our community lunches, or to our weekly drop-in, ‘Well-come Point’. We aim to offer all a warm welcome at Bognor Regis Methodist Church, because we firmly believe that just as God’s love extends to everyone, we also should live that out in the welcome we offer others.”

Dan’s message to those who had questions are echoed by the church community, and everyone is welcome to come along to services and the church’s events. Dan said: “If you ever have questions about Church, Christianity, faith, would like to meet with me or one of the Churches ministry team, or are interested in coming along to something but a bit nervous about coming for the first time, please feel free to get in touch.”

Dan continues to be involved in the South East Methodist District, which Bognor Regis Methodist Church belongs.
