Thursdays – fortnightly
The Thursday Church Home Group members meet fortnightly on a Thursday afternoon at 2.30pm. We meet to study God’s word, usually following a published Bible Study, which we generally purchase individually (but don’t let that stop you coming – we’re good at sharing!). In recent times we have studied:
- Mark
- Ruth
- Women of the New Testament
- Ephesians
- The Letters of John
We begin each meeting with prayer, a hymn or song, then our time of study and we always end with the all-important tea and biscuits! We would love to see this group grow and invite you to come along and join us. We have great fellowship and we learn more about Jesus every time we meet.
Discover our Home Groups
Our Home Groups meet fortnightly for about an hour and a half for prayer, Bible study, discussion and fellowship. The Wednesday meetings have been studying St John’s gospel and are moving on to a study about faith. The Thursday meetings have been studying ‘Christian virtues’ and are moving on to a study called ‘Meeting Jesus’. We usually use a study guide to help us go deeper. Our fellowship also deepens as we chat over refreshments! We would welcome new people to join us.
