Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ,

As we gather to celebrate Pentecost—the glorious day when the Holy Spirit descended upon the disciples, filling them with divine power, boldness, and unity. It was the birth of the Church, a moment that transformed fearful followers into fearless witnesses of Jesus Christ.

The book of Acts clearly points out that on that day, “they were all together in one place” (Acts 2:1), when a mighty rushing wind came from heaven, tongues of fire rested upon them, and they were filled with the Holy Spirit. They began to speak in different languages, declaring the wonders of God. As each one spoke in their language they were understood without any difficulty. What an extraordinary moment!

Pentecost reminds us that God does not leave His people powerless. The same Holy Spirit that empowered the apostles is available to us today. He is our Comforter, our Guide, our Source of strength. Through Him, we receive boldness to proclaim the gospel, wisdom to navigate life’s challenges, and unity that transcends all differences.

Church as the body of christ in these times of uncertainty, we need the fire of Pentecost more than ever. We are experiencing cold religiosity. Let us not merely remember Pentecost as a historic event but as a present reality—a call to be Spirit- filled, Spirit-led, and Spirit-empowered. Let us pray for fresh anointing, for renewed passion, and for the courage to be witnesses to the ends of the earth.

Through the experience of the Pentecost the gospel spread to all parts of the world as everyone caught the fire of the Holy Spirit. It is our hope that our Pentecost experience today will bring transformation to our churches and communities.

To experience the power of the holy spirit you are welcome to attend the services that will be starting held in our churches at Bognor Regis, Selsey, Westergate and Felpham 8 June 2025. There are preachers that are assigned those services and the body be filled with fire of the holy spirit.

May our hearts be ignited anew, our lives transformed, and our voices lifted in praise.
